The Writer's Community Promotion Page is ran by published author and U.K native, C.L. Brierley. A little background story here, me and C.L. Brierley became friends when I first published my poetry book, You're a Deity. She runs the page as free promotion for writers, which is very cool. She puts a lot of her own, personal, money into running ads and managing other aspects of the Page. She did and does so much to help writers gain more visibility online, that I decided to gift her a brand.

She had no idea what I was up to when I was designing the logo and website. C. L. Brierley has since edited the site (as she should its her site), but the original colors were a spring pink, yellow, and blue. The logo is a pink typewriter with flowers blooming out of the top of it. For the font, I used American Typewriter as the body font, and bolded the font for titles and headlines. The reason why I went with American Typewriter is because C.L Brierley was using that font in her social media content and in her original logo.

The site originally had a home, about, writers, featured writers, and contact page. Since she has had it, she has added a lot to the site, which is great. Now every writer she ahs ever helped a spot on her site, with links to their social and any published work. Writers can also fill out a form to suggest new writers, or to become a featured writer.

When I first gave her the site, she was so shocked and excited. I know it made my day to give her the site and logo. She has dedicated a lot of work and money into helping writers across all genres gain visibility for their work. She is still a friend of mine, and I can't imagine a life without her.
