Introduction
"Kick the Devil" was released in October 2023. The track is based off my lyrics, "Kick the Devil." Kick the Devil was a collaborative music project between Brian Briery and I. I designed the artwork for our song.
Inspiration and Process
For this song, I wanted to design art that was bold and memorable. My design was inspired by gothic artwork. I also liked fire, and lots of it, in a tasteful way of course. I made a fire- styled background for the gothic title font to make it stand out against the dark red background of the art. The design for the single art was also a collaborative project between Brian and I. It was his idea to go the flaming gothic style direction.
